Before replacing the LCD screen cable of your Galaxy Tab 4, you must turn off your phone for safety reasons.
To do this, press the power button for a few seconds, then click on "turn off".
Insert a nylon spudger in the top left corner of the tablet and pry the first part of the case.
Then lower the spudger all along the left part of the tablet.
Unclip the lower side, then the right side, always using the spudger and always the same way.
Open it progressively, while prying gradually and carefully.
Grasp the rear case and remove it.
The rear case of your Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is now removed.
Using the nylon spudger, disconnect the battery carefully.
Remove the top part of the green scotch tape using the tip of the nylon spudger.
Use the flat side of the nylon spudger to unlock the LCD screen cable connector, near the logicboard.
Then lift the cable and rotate it backwards.
Then unlock the cable connector on the screen side.
Grasp the cable and remove it.
The Galaxy Tab 4 LCD screen cable is now disassembled.

Thank you for this guide. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 800 GT-N8000 (Tab 2) with a black screen. When I charge the battery and press the power button, it chimes and the screen responds to touches with sounds. Do you think the problem with the LCD flex cable?
