Before disassembling the LCD screen of your iPhone 6S, you have to securely turn it off.
Maintain the power button on the top for a few seconds.
Then slide to the right to "power off" button in red.
Your iPhone 6S is now turned off.
With a pentalobe screw driver, remove the two screws circled in red on the picture.
Those screws are on both side of the lightning connector of the phone.
Those two screws maintain the bottom part of the screen on the iPhone's frame.
Then put the iSclack on the iPhone 6S.
The suction cups have to be near the home button (at the bottom) as shown on pictures 1 and 2.
Make sure the suction cups are perfectly attached to the iPhone and then close the handle of the iSclack to separate the suction cups, pulling the front panel up from the rear case.
A black seal on both sides of the phone and another white one at the top and bottom hold the display assembly to the rear panel.
Then lift the display assembly to a 90° angle.
With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the five screws circled in red.
Those screws hold the display assembly connector bracket. You'll be able to remove in using tweezers in the next step.
Use tweezers to remove the display assembly connector bracket.
With a nylon spudger, gently pry to disconnect the following cables:
Still using the spudger, pry again and disconnect the cable holding the display assembly to the iPhone 6S :
- Front camera
- Earpiece speaker
- Proximity and light sensor
-Home button.
You can lift the display assembly and remove it.
The display assembly of the iPhone 6S is now disassembled.
Use a cruciform screwdriver and remove the three screws circled in red.
Those screws maintain the earpiece speaker bracket.
With a nylon spudger, push backwards the earpiece speaker bracket.
Keep using the nylon spudger and gently pry to the left to remove the camera from its socket.
Use a pair of tweezers and grab the earpiece speaker. Remove it.
The earpiece speaker is now disassembled.
Use the nylon spudger and remove the proximity/light sensor from its socket.
Then remove the microphone.
Still with the spudger, remove the proximity/light sensor and front camera cable.
The proximisyt/light sensor/camer cable is now disassembled.
Use a cruciform screw driver and remove the 4 screws circled in red (picture 1) as well as the three orther screws circled in red (picture2).
Finally, remove the last screw circled in red (picture3).
Those screws maintain the LCD shield plate.
Use the nylon spudger and peel off the black tape from the EMI shield near the front camera.
Repeat the last step on the other side of the EMI shied with a spudger.
Gently pry the shielding plate and remove it with a a spudger.
The LCD shield plate of your iPhone 6S is now disassembled.
Use the cruciform screwdriver and remove the two screws circled in red (picture 1).
Then use a pair of tweezers and grab the home button bracket. Remove it.
Use the nylon spudger to disconnect the home button cable.
Then remove the home button cable with the spudger.
Then use the spudger's tip and peel off the home button from the display assembly.
With tweezers, remove the home button of the iPhone 6S.
Careful, the home button cable is very thin, you have to be meticulous. If needed, do not hesitate to peel off the cable with a nylon spudger.
Make sure you put back the original Touch ID, otherwise, for safety reasons, the Touch ID will not work.
Use a pair of tweezers, grab the earpiece speaker bracket and remove it .
Grab the bracket and remove it.
The LCD screen of your iPhone 6S is now disassembled.
You can replace your broken screen by a new one.
