Before disassembling the GSM antenna of your iPhone 6S, you have to securely turn it off.
Maintain the power button on the top for a few seconds.
Then slide to the right to "power off" button in red.
Your iPhone 6S is now turned off.
With a pentalobe screw driver, remove the two screws circled in red on the picture.
Those screws are on both side of the lightning connector of the phone.
Those two screws maintain the bottom part of the screen on the iPhone's frame.
Then put the iSclack on the iPhone 6S.
The suction cups have to be near the home button (at the bottom) as shown on pictures 1 and 2.
Make sure the suction cups are perfectly attached to the iPhone and then close the handle of the iSclack to separate the suction cups, pulling the front panel up from the rear case.
A black seal on both sides of the phone and another white one at the top and bottom hold the display assembly to the rear panel.
Then lift the display assembly to a 90° angle.
With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the five screws circled in red.
Those screws hold the display assembly connector bracket. You'll be able to remove in using tweezers in the next step.
Use tweezers to remove the display assembly connector bracket.
Still using the spudger, pry again and disconnect the cable holding the display assembly to the iPhone 6S :
- Front camera
- Earpiece speaker
- Proximity and light sensor
-Home button.
You can lift the display assembly and remove it.
The display assembly of the iPhone 6S is now disassembled.
Use the cruciform screwdriver and remove the two screws circled in red that hold the vibrator.
Then remove it with a pair of tweezers.
Use the cruciform screwdriver and remove the two screws circled in red holding the battery and dock connector bracket.
With a pair of tweezers, grab the connector bracket and remove it.
Then use the spudger again and disconnect the battery from the logic board.
Then peel off the two black strips for the battery removal .
Grab those two strips and gently pull them (see pictures).
Use the nylon spudger to lift the battery.
Grab the battery and remove it.
With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the seven screws circled that secure the WiFi antenna.
Grab the WiFi antenna bracket and remove it.
Grab the WiFi antenna with a pair of tweezers and remove it.
With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the two screws circled in red that hold the back camera bracket.
Grab that bracket with a pair of tweezers and remove it.
Use a nylon spudger and disconnect the rear camera from the logic board.
Grab and remove it with a pair of tweezers.
Use the cruciform screwdriver to remove the screw circled in red that secures the top connector.
Remove it with a pair of tweezers.
With the cruciform screwdriver, remove the screw circled in red that secures the top right connector.
Remove it with a pair of tweezers.
Use the nylon spudger to disconnect the power/volume/vibrator button cable.
Then disconnect the interconnect cable.
Disconnect the dock connector cable.
Still with the nylon spudger, disconnect the GSM antenna.
Use the cruciform screwdriver and remove the two screws circled in red that secure the logic board onto the frame.
With an hexagonal screwdriver (available in the kit 58 pièces), remove the nut circled in red.
This nut secures the logic board onto the frame of the iPhone.
With the nylon spudger, gently pry to lift the logic board.
Then gently pull it as shown on picture 3.
Don't remove the logic board just yet, it is still attached to the frame via an interconnect cable.
Use the nylon spudger to unclip the interconnect cable from the logic board.
Then grasp the logic board and remove it.
The logic board of your iPhone 6S is now disassembled.
Use the cruciform screwdriver and remove the screw circled in red that secures the external speaker/GSM antenna.
Grasp the interconnect cable and remove it.
Remove the two cruciform screws circled in red that secure the external speaker/ GSM antenna.
With the spudger's tip, peel off the black top on the external speaker.
That tape hides a cruciform screw.
With the cruciform screwdriver, remove the screw circled in red that secure the external speaker and the GSM antenna.
Gently insert the spudger underneath the external speaker and lift it. You should be able to do so easily.
Careful about the dock connector cable which is right underneath the speaker.
The speaker and the GSM antenna of your iPhone 6S are now removed.
With the nylon spudger, gently peel off the GSM antenna from the external speaker.
Remove it.
The GSM antenna of your iPhone 6S is now disassembled.
You can replace it with a new one if needed.
