Before disassembling the WiFi and Bluetooth interconnect cable of your iPhone 6, you have to securely turn it off.
Maintain the power button on the top for a few seconds.
The SIM card tray of the iPhone 6 can be found on the right side of the phone, near the power button (on/off/sleep).
Insert the SIM card eject tool in the small hole and push to eject the SIM tray.
Then grab it and remove it.
The iPhone 6 SIM card tray is now removed.
With a pentalobe screw driver, remove the two screws circled in red on the picture.
Those screws are on both side of the lightning connector of the phone.
Those two screws maintain the bottom part of the screen on the iPhone's frame.
With a cruciform screw, remove the five screws circled in red.
Those screws hold the front panel cable bracket that you can remove with a pair of tweezers.
With a nylon spudger, gently pry up to disconnect the cable for :
- the front camera,
- the earpiece speaker,
- the proximity and light sensor,
- and the home button cable.
Still with a nylon spudger, pry again to disconnect gently the last two cables holding the display assembly of your iPhone 6 :
- the LCD screen cable,
- the touch screen cable.
You can now pull out the complete display assembly.
The complete display assemble of your iPhone 6 is now disassembled.
Use the cruciform screwdriver and remove the two screws circled in red.
Those screws hold the two following connector brackets :
- battery connector,
- headphone jack/speaker/dock connector/microphone connector .
Then grab the connector's bracket with a pair of tweezers and remove it.
Use the nylon spudger and gently pry to disconnect the battery's cable.
For this guide we recommend that you disconnect the battery for safety reasons. Nonetheless, no need to remove it.
With a nylon spudger, disconnect the headphone jack/lightning connector/GSM antenna/microphone cable.
Use the nylon spudger again to disconnect the GSM antenna.
With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the four screws circled in red.
Those screws secure the logic board and the plastic bracket.
Before removing the logic board, remove that bracket.
Now using a flat screwdriver, remove the rivet screw circled in red.
This screw hold the top part of the logic board.
Even if this is a cruciform screw, we recommend that you use a flat screwdriver.
Use the curciform screwdriver and remove the two screws circled in red.
Those screws maintain the metal bracket.
Then remove it with tweezers. You can see two connectors and a screw holding the logic board.
Still with the cruciform screwdriver, remove the four screws circled in red.
Those screws maintain the WiFi antenna and the logic board.
With a pair of tweezers, grab and remove the WiFi antenna.
With the cruciform screwdriver, remove the three screws circled in red.
Those screws maintain the metal grounding part of the phone.
With a pair of tweezers, remove it.
Use the nylon spudger and disconnect the volume/vibrator buttons cable.
Still with the spudger, gently pry to disconnect the power button cable.
Disconnect the back camera using the nylon spudger.
Insert the spudger between the speaker and logic board.
Then gently pry in order for it to lift.
You can now grab and remove the iPhone 6's logic board.
Turn the logic board over with the spudger and disconnect the first and second interconnect cable connector.
With the spudger, disconnect the third and fourth interconnect cable connector.
The interconnect WiFi and Bluetooth cable is now disassembled.
You can replace it by a new one.
