Before disassembling theWiFi antenna of your iPhone 6 Plus, you have to securely turn it off.
Maintain the power button on the top for a few seconds.
Then slide to the right to "power off" button in red.
With a pentalobe screwdriver, remove the two screws circled in red on the picture.
Those screws are on each side of the dock connecter (lightning connector).
Those two screws hold the bottom part of the display assembly to the rear panel of the iPhone.
Then put the iSclackon the iPhone 6 Plus.
The suction cups have to be near the home button (at the bottom) as shown on the pictures.
Make sure the suction cups are perfectly attached to the iPhone and then close the handle of the iSclack to separate the suction cups, pulling the front panel up from the rear case..
Then open the display to about a 90º angle as shown on the pictures.
With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the five screws circled in red.
Those screws hold the screen connectors cable that you will then be able to remove with tweezers.
Use a pair of tweezers to remove the screen connectors cable.
With a nylon spudger, gently pry to disconnect the following cable :
- Front camera,
- Earpiece speaker,
- Proximity and light sensor,
- Home button cable.
Still using the nylon spudger, pry to disconnect the last two cables tying the screen to the iPhone 6 Plus :
- LCD screen cable,
- Touch screen cable.
Then lift the complete display assembly and remove it.
The display assemble is now disassembled.
Use a cruciform screwdriver and remove the five screws circled in red.
Those screws hold the WiFi antenna bracket.
Remove it with a pair of tweezers.
With the nylon spduger, disconnect the power button cable.
Still with the spudger, disconnect the volume and vibrate ring switch buttons cable.
Use it again and disconnect the WiFi antenna.
Grab the antenna connector with a pair of tweezers and gently lift it from the logic board.
Be careful and meticulous when removing the antenna, it is very fragile !
The WiFi antenna of your iPhone 6 Plus is now disassembled.
You can replace it by a new one.
