The 15th of November 2001 marks the arrival of Microsoft on the market with their first video game console the Xbox. Unlike PC's running on Windows, the Xbox is a true games console that can only play Xbox games.

In 2005, Microsoft released their new generation of video game consoles, the Xbox 360, featuring a 3.2 GHz tri-core processor making it, on paper, the most powerful console on the market at the time. However the Xbox range is known for overheating issues, whether it's the original Xbox or the 360, causing many bugs with gameplay.
